The garden that grows flowers, vegetables, and herbs in a Palestinian village could be the perfect way for peace and security in the region.
The garden, which is called the “Zion Market Garden,” has already been in the works since 2014.
It is currently being developed by Israeli and Palestinian farmers in the village of Yatta, near the village’s main road, and is a part of a project called the Zion Market (Arabic: تقلاة نوس القطية) project.
The garden, built by an organization called “Yatta Ghetto,” aims to cultivate food that is sustainable and produces local produce for the Israeli and the Palestinian communities in the area.
“I was very excited to receive an invitation to grow a garden here in Yatta,” said the owner of the garden, who did not wish to be identified.
“It is a project I believe in and I’m very happy to be a part in this project.”
The Zion Garden is part of an ongoing project by the Yatta Ghettos to develop the garden and create a community garden in the Yata area.
The project aims to develop gardens for the farmers, and help improve the quality of life in the community.
“The Zions Garden project aims at developing gardens that are suitable for people living in the Zions area and the Yatsas area, where the farmers have not been able to access gardens,” said Dina Barakat, the ZION Project Coordinator.
“We are working on creating gardens that can be used for the residents in the communities, so they can have a green and healthy life in a sustainable way.”
Barakat also told The Jerusalem Mail that the garden is not a replacement for the Zitzor gardens, but is a way for the community to be able to live in peace with the garden.
“We want to create a garden that will give hope for the Yatan region, to make Yatta feel like a part the community and to have a positive experience in this community,” Barak at the project said.
“The project will provide an opportunity for Yatan residents to participate in the garden.”
The garden is one of a number of gardens being developed in the occupied West Bank under the project, which aims to help Palestinian farmers grow food that has been locally grown, and to help the community sustain itself.
In 2014, Israeli soldiers entered the village, seized the farmers’ crops, and killed several people.
Two farmers, Ibrahim and Abdullah Abu al-Rabi, were arrested and jailed for several years.
The Israeli army has since refused to release them.
Barak at “Yatan Garden” told The Mail that she and her fellow gardeners were shocked to see the brutality of the Israeli army, and that the soldiers killed the farmers.
“When the Israeli soldiers came to the garden they had a different attitude, like ‘we are here to arrest you, and we want to kill you,’ and they shot people,” she said.
The Garden is currently undergoing several iterations and is in the process of being turned into a full-scale garden.
The team behind the project hopes that by the end of 2019, it will have enough land to begin cultivating the garden with the help of the village.
The ZION Garden was originally launched in 2014 by the Palestinian-Israeli farmers of the Yatas area in response to Israeli violence in the West Bank, according to Barak.
The project aims “to create a sustainable garden that is compatible with the local community,” she told The News.
“This garden will give us hope that the community is ready for the fruits of our labor.”
According to Barack, the goal of the project is to create gardens that allow Palestinian farmers to live a normal life, while also being able to have gardens that have a place in their village.
“When the farmers grow a crop, we will harvest it, sell it to the community, and use it for food,” she added.
The “Zions Garden” project aims in part to help increase the quality and quantity of local produce in the Palestinian agricultural landscape, according a statement by the project.
“Through the gardens we are creating a garden of food, which will help strengthen the Palestinian community and the local agricultural economy,” the statement read.
