I’ve been selling fish for 20 years and I know what it feels like to be a customer.
My shop is just a few metres away from the front door to my favourite fishmongers in Mitchells Market and it’s a daily challenge to keep the business going.
But that’s not to say it’s easy.
I have to keep my staff and customers busy and to ensure my stock is kept in stock I have a strict policy to buy from reputable sellers.
As an online fishmongering business I’m lucky enough to have a dedicated team of people who help me to ensure the safety of my customers.
We have strict protocols in place to ensure our customers are happy and our staff are well trained.
I try my best to keep things as safe as possible.
I also try to be honest with my customers and provide them with a high quality product.
My fishmongery business has been successful and I’ve recently started a new career with the help of a local business.
I’m proud of my experience and I feel I’ve learnt a lot from the business and its clients.
But with that comes a new challenge: how do I keep the fishmonging business going and how do we help people to enjoy fish again?
How do you keep the store going?
