Tampa, Fla.
— There are so many things going on at once, it can be hard to keep track of them all.
But it’s easy to see how a new business is born when its one that is not just focused on growing its own meat but also helping other businesses grow.
The Tampa Meat Market has been there for the past four years.
The company, which has more than a dozen locations in Florida and other states, started by selling locally raised meats at its Tampa store in 2012.
But the demand for meat and processed meats grew quickly and it expanded into Tampa’s Downtown Tampa area in 2013.
Today, the company has more local meat products than it has any other in the state of Florida, according to Mark Stoff, co-owner of Tampa Meat Markets, which operates the stores on Fairway Street.
That includes beef, pork and chicken.
There is one main reason why Tampa Meat markets are such a success, Stoff said.
It is a very low-maintenance business.
Stoff said he started the company with a single goal: to provide good food to good customers.
That is why he is so proud of how he has managed to bring a wide range of local products to the market.
As Tampa Meat market expands, St. Petersburg has begun a nationwide meat market.
And the Tampa market has grown to about 5,000 square feet, Stoffs said.
There are more than 1,000 vendors, and about 2,000 customers each day, he said.
What does this mean for the city?
Stoff and his team have no plans to close the Tampa Meat Stores, and he has plans to expand the business to a larger space and build more.
“
I think there are many opportunities for us, not only in Tampa but across the country, to get a foothold in this industry, to have some impact on what the meat supply looks like, he added.
